What are Ignition Calls?

Ignition Calls offer free 1:1 strategy sessions to help progressive caregivers navigate the challenges of juggling parenting and advocacy.

Need a quick, focused boost to get clear on your next steps?

Whether you’re rethinking your approach to discipline or navigating discrimination against your child at school, you don’t have to tackle this alone.

You’re smart, capable, and can figure this out

Struggling to decide what to do next?

Even with a huge toolbox of strategies and best-practices, sometimes what you need is help identifying which tool to choose.

This is your space to untangle your challenge with someone who isn’t currently tangled up in it.

How It Works

Book a free call on our calendar and bring a specific challenge that’s keeping you from moving forward, and I’ll help detangle your thoughts and clarify next steps.

Schedule a call if you’re facing a parenting & advocacy challenge that requires 1:1 support, or that you aren’t comfortable bringing into our collectives or group workshops.

  • Available Sessions: We have space for up to 2 calls per month. Once the spots are filled, the calendar will close.
  • Duration: Each session is 30-45 minutes of focused discussion to outline challenges, strategize, and generate action ideas.
  • Sessions are 1:1 but up to two additional family members or friends may join our discussion.
  • Discussions are closed – To protect your privacy, I won’t take notes or keep records of what we discuss during our call.
  • Priority Registration for active members of our Summer Luminator & Winter Incubator collectives, with any remaining spots open to non-members.

Who are Ignition Calls For?

Want to advocate about the issues that matter to you and your kids, but executive functioning challenges make it hard to get started?

Book a call if you can’t deal with too many inputs from a group discussion.

Let’s walk through the options available to you based on your goals and challenges.

Have a challenge for the group discussion, but worried you’ll hurt or offend someone because you’re not sure how to phrase it?

Reach out for help getting started.

Nervous about sharing private or sensitive information?

Need a sounding board to talk through a challenge that requires disclosing medical information, your child’s LBGTQiA2S+ identity, or how to support your undocumented students?

Let’s chat about it privately without outing anyone and get you connected with the right support network.

When Are Ignition Calls Not The Right Fit?

Ignition Calls are for specific parent or advocacy-based challenges.

If you’re feeling isolated and want to connect with other caregivers, you’ll find this in our Summer Luminator and Winter Incubator collectives.

If you are overwhelmed in general with no specific challenges, and need a quick guide to getting it together, join our Busy Parents Guide To Getting Sh*t Done workshop.

And if you’re having trouble self-regulating and don’t want to take it out on your kids, join our Parenting The Path of Least Resistance workshops.
